Get High And Get Moving: The Best Sports To Play While Stoned

There are countless ways to get high, from classic favorites like smoking a joint made with weed you can find in our all strains library or taking an edible, to exploring the more advanced realm of vaporizers and dabbing. But what if you want to combine getting high with getting fit? Smoking and exercising together might seem like a bad idea since it can cause lightheadedness, but exercising when high can help relieve stress, improve mood, and encourage recovery after workouts.

Here are some of the best sports and activities to try while stoned.

Bowling

Recreational bowling is a great way to spend an afternoon with friends, especially if you’re high. The sport can be quite challenging, however, which is why many people enjoy it. Professional bowling, on the other hand, is a bit more serious.

But that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun too! If you’re looking for a competitive way to get high, then professional bowling is definitely for you. The thought of throwing strikes under pressure may seem daunting, but once you’ve played for a few hours your coordination will improve significantly.

It’s all about learning how to bowl better in order to compete well. In addition, these competitions are often filled with interesting characters from all walks of life (i.e., from pro-bowlers to comedians). Bowling isn’t the only recreational activity that’s worth trying when you’re high though; there are tons of other options out there.

The best advice we can give is to take your time and try everything at least once; there are so many ways weed can change how different sports feel!

Golf

When you’re high, golf can be an incredibly fun (and challenging) sport. The key is to focus on the task at hand and not get too caught up in the score. Be sure to take your time with each shot and enjoy the scenery.

You may find that you have a whole new appreciation for the game. No matter how many balls you lose or make contact with, just remember that it’s all part of the experience. If you find yourself getting frustrated, take a break from the course and smoke another joint! Just don’t forget your cart this time!

Skiing

While skiing might seem like a dangerous sport to try out even when you’re as sober as can be, it can be incredibly fun if you have enough experience to do so while you’re high. When you’re skiing high, the world seems like one giant playground.

You’ll be carving down the slopes with a newfound sense of confidence and control. Plus, the experience is enhanced by the fact that everything looks so damn cool when you’re stoned. Just make sure you have a sober friend nearby in case things get too intense. Or maybe just stop every once in a while to take a break and enjoy the view. It’s up to you!

Rock Climbing

Like skiing, rock climbing is another sport that can seem super intimidating even when you’re sober but actually becomes way more manageable when you’re high on weed. Whether it’s traversing a boulder or scaling a rock wall, rock climbing becomes easier because your brain is more relaxed and focused on having fun than being nervous about falling off the edge of something.

If you’re looking for an intense yet chill experience, check out some local indoor rock climbing gyms in your area to get the ball rolling.

Hang Gliding

There’s nothing like the feeling of flying high, and when you’re stoned, hang gliding can be an even more exhilarating experience. The gentle wind flowing through your hair, the beautiful scenery below you… it’s an unforgettable experience. Just make sure you have an experienced instructor with you, as weed can make it difficult to focus on the task at hand. And don’t forget that you’ll need to keep up with rigorous safety measures, like securing your harness and wearing a helmet.

Soccer

Playing soccer high is a great way to get in shape, and it can be a lot of fun at the same time. There are a couple of tips you’ll want to keep in mind while you’re trying to play soccer while high.

The first thing you need is a ball (obviously). It doesn’t have to be a regulation size one, but it should be round and reasonably firm. You can get a training ball at any sporting goods store or online.

Next, find an open field or slight hill to play on. The bigger the better — as long as it’s not too steep! Find an open space with no trees or rocks that could easily become dangerous projectiles if kicked by accident.

Put on some sneakers and knee pads (if you are worried about falling) and take some time to test the slope of the hill before starting by kicking the ball back and forth between yourself and another person standing at the bottom of the hill (or preferably a little ways up it).

If there are other people around who want to join in, make sure they know what they’re getting into before sending them tumbling down!

Tennis

One of the great things about tennis is that it’s a relatively low-impact sport, so you don’t have to worry about getting too banged up. And since it’s played one-on-one or in doubles, you don’t have to worry about coordinating with a team. Just grab a friend, some weed, and a couple of rackets and you’re good to go.

If you find yourself starting to get tired (you’ll be feeling more mellow than energetic), give yourself an energy boost by taking a walk around the court.

A little bit of movement will help your blood flow better, making everything seem just that much brighter. Oh yeah, we should mention: Don’t forget your sunglasses!

Swimming

There’s something about being in the water that just feels good when you’re high. Maybe it’s the weightlessness or the fact that you can’t really fall and hurt yourself. Whatever it is, swimming is a great way to get your heart rate up without feeling like you’re exerting yourself too much.

Bottom Line

Trying out any of these sports while you’re high can be a great way to take your experience to the next level. When you go out of your comfort zone in life, you tend to get a lot more out of it and enjoy it that much more, and partaking in sports while you’re high is an exciting way to break through comfort barriers that you might have.
